We recognize our responsibility to shape a supply chain that respects both people and planet, and we’re committed to making better choices at every stage of the product journey.
We work closely with fabric mills, dyeing units, and partner factories to co-create environmentally responsible solutions that reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote circularity. Our approach balances innovation with tradition, combining modern sustainable materials with natural techniques rooted in India’s textile heritage.
Key areas of impact include:
Use of low-impact materials: We regularly ship products made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, recycled polyester, linen, and natural yarn blends
Alternative textiles & biomaterials: We experiment with next-gen fibers derived from corn, banana leaves, and sugarcane - all renewable and biodegradable - to reduce reliance on synthetics
Natural dyeing & printing: We incorporate artisanal dyeing methods using herbs, plant roots, and mineral-based pigments to lower water and chemical use
Factory engagement & certifications: Our partner factories are encouraged to register with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and undergo training on the Higg Index suite of tools to benchmark and improve environmental and social performance
